A memorial service for former Southampton resident Harry A. Marmion of Williamsburg, Virginia, will be held on Saturday, October 4, at 3 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building auditorium at Stony Brook Southampton, A reception will follow at the Meadow Club, 555 First Neck Lane in Southampton.

The former president of Southampton College, Dr. Marmion, 77, died on August 14 at Sentara Williamsburg Community Hospital, of complications related to Parkinson’s disease. Online condolences can be left at NelsenFH.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Harry A. Marmion Scholarship Fund at LaSalle Academy, 44 East 2nd Street, New York, NY 10003 would be appreciated by the family.
