Kudos to Barbara Weber-Floyd [“Serious Concerns,” Letters, April 6] — finally, someone with common sense. We have lived in Quiogue for over 40 years and agree completely with you on this situation.
Plus, we will be between two outrageous developments with traffic, noise, etc. What can the draft environmental impact statement possibly be thinking?
Quiogue is a dumping ground for all the things Southampton wants to do. The Planning Board has much more work to do, in our estimation. We are all in favor of utilizing the Community Preservation Fund to protect our open space.
