Eastbound Accident on County Road 39 Causes Backup In Southampton

There was an accident at 3:30 p.m. on County Road 39 near Shrubland Road by Tortorella Swimming Pools. Town Police said as of 3:40 p.m., one eastbound lane had been closed on County Road 39 and traffic was backed up into Southampton Village. All lanes have since been reopened. Southampton Town Police did disclose any further information as of 4:25 p.m.
