Mr. Zebrowski was born in Bridgehampton on September 10, 1935 to Walter Zebrowski and Sophie Graboski. He attended local schools and served as an altar boy at Our Lady of Poland Church in Southampton.

Mr. Zebrowski served in the Strategic Air Command in the United States Air Force from 1954-1957. Upon returning from service, he met and fell in love with Beverly Ann Elizabeth Brandt. They married in 1960.

Mr. Zebrowski grew up around his family’s potato farm and had a passion for the land and agriculture that carried throughout his life. Until his retirement, he owned a successful landscaping business, and in his retirement, enjoyed assisting his daughter Jill and her husband Alfredo with their own landscape and property management company.

Mr. Zebrowski was a skilled polka dancer and was a familiar face every Sunday at the Basilica Parish of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Southampton, where he served as an usher.

He is survived by his children, Jeffrey E. Zebrowski and wife Ellen of Colorado; Jill E. Zebrowski Salazar and husband Alfredo of Southampton; Gregory B. Zebrowski and wife Stephanie of Virginia; two grandsons, Brandt and Jack Zebrowski; and his companion Carol McNally of Sag Harbor.

A gathering of family and friends was held on May 27 at Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral Mass was held on May 28 at Sacred Hearts in Southampton, followed by a private burial with military honors at Sacred Hearts cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Mr. Zebrowski’s honor to the JBJ Soul Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses its efforts on the issues of hunger and homelessness in the United States.
