Edward Dombrowski of Water Mill died on June 7 st Stony Brook Hospital. He was 83.

He was born on March 26, 1941, to Sophie and Benjamin Dombrowski of Water Mill.

He was a very talented man. He worked as an antique restorer of fine furniture in Water Mill for 60 years. He was a fine painter of oils and acrylics. Many of his works are in private collectors’ homes on the East End of Long Island.

He was also a great musician, favoring blue grass music. He played the guitar, banjo, fiddle, and harmonica. One of his favorite artists was Bill Monroe the “Father of Blue Grass.”

He is survived by his youngest brother; his niece and goddaughter, Thea Dombrowski-Fry; his grandnephew, James Robert Fry II; his niece Bernadette Tomecki-Kubelka; and niece Jane Dombrowski-Goehring; as well as many other nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial Mass at Our Lady of Poland RC Church at 35 Maple Street in Southampton on Sunday, December 1, at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. A small reception will follow in the meeting room. All are welcome to attend.
