Elisabeth Dosch
Elisabeth Dosch of Southampton died on Sunday, July 15, at Southampton Hospital. She was 85.
Born in Seifersdorf, Germany, on November 23, 1926, she moved to Southampton with her husband Josef and her two children in 1952. Mrs. Dosch was a nurse’s aid at the former Todd Nursing Home in Southampton for more than 25 years. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her husband at both their home in Southampton and their vacation home in Gilbertsville. She was devoted mother and grandmother and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, survivors said.
Mrs. Dosch was predeceased by her husband, Josef Dosch. She is survived by her children, Peter Dosch and his wife Michelle, Frank Dosch and his wife Anne; four grandchildren Kurt, Samantha, April and Josef; and three great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Lorenzo and Avery. She was predeceased by three sisters who resided in Germany.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 and 9 p.m. at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. Religious services were incomplete at press time.
