Elizabeth M. Mocker of East Quogue died at her home on January 25. She was 94.
Ms. Mocker was the last charter member of the East Quogue Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was an active member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Hampton Bays. She was also a member of the East Quogue Homemakers Association.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Patricia J. Mocker of East Quogue; granddaughters, Trisha Freshwater and husband A.J. of South Carolina, and Debbie Holzman and husband Alvin of Hampton Bays; great-grandchildren, Christopher Charles Freshwater, Emily Elizabeth Freshwater, Marlena Olszak, Charles Douglas Holzman, Brandon Douglas Holzman, Madison Virginia Holzman and Josh Douglas Holzman. She is also survived by a sister, Virginia Fleischer of Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles T. Mocker Sr. and a son, Charles T. Mocker Jr., a sister, Florence Stanton; and two brothers, William Languth and Arthur Languth.
Visiting was held at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays, during which the Ladies Auxiliary held services followed by a funeral service by the Reverend John Kenrich, pastor of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church. Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery in East Quogue.
