Emanuel “Manny” Winick of New York City and Southampton died on July 5 in Southampton with his daughter Ivy by his side. He was 95.

He was born on February 27, 1929, in Brooklyn, to Jacob and Gussie Winick of Minsk, Russia.

He had a thriving jewelry business in New York City, which began in 1954 in Lower Manhattan and later moved uptown to 47th Street. It later expanded to Montauk. The business celebrates 70 years, which his son, Richard, continues.

In his younger years, he enjoyed paddle ball, tennis, swimming and skiing, as well as dining out, fine wines and travel — and driving beautiful automobiles.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Seymour, Larry and Jack; and his wife Hilda Torem. He is survived by his children, Ivy, Richard, Reid, and Chet; and his grandchildren, Jade, Jasmine, Justin, Skyler, Brandon and Blake.

Shiva will commence following the funeral. The location to be announced.
