Ernest Martino of Eastport and formerly of Westhampton died at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead on Monday, November 24. He was 81.
Mr. Martino was born on January 26, 1927.
He is survived by a daughter, Cathy Ann Eckart and her husband Jake; and two sisters, Gloria Martino and Teresa Fanelli. He was predeceased by his wife, Josephine in 2007.
A wake was held at the Follett and Werner Funeral Home in Westhampton Beach on November 28. A funeral mass was held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Quiogue on November 29; interment followed at the Westhampton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231 or a cancer research facility of choice would be appreciated by the family.
