Evaristo Choy Lix

Evaristo Choy Lix of Sag Harbor died on January 30 at Stony Brook University Medical Center as a result of an automobile accident earlier that day in Sag Harbor. He was 21.

Born in Guatemala on September 19, 1987, to Juan Roman Choy Nij and Yolanda Lix Camey; he worked as a carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he is
survived by seven siblings, Marta
Julia, Teresa, Julia Rosaura, Ana Diselida, Maria Asuncion, Florinda and Alexander ; and grandparents, Anacleto Choy and Rodrigo Lix, all of Guatemala.

The family received visitors on Wednesday, February 4, at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. Interment will be in Guatemala.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH — Dario Vasquez, 26, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on December 9 and charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a misdemeanor.
