Evelyn M. Payne of Hampton Bays and Manhattan, died at her home in Hampton Bays on February 5, with her family by her side. She was 66.
Ms. Payne was vice president and partner in the advertising firm of P.S. Direct, Inc., in Manhattan.
She is survived by her spouse, Elizabeth Osgood; her mother, Helen Rathkamp of Bohemia; a sister, Patricia Kobus and husband Jay of Illinois; a sister-in-law, Alice Leshinski and husband Steve of Mastic; and a brother, Walter Rathkamp and wife Cookie of Michigan. She is also survived by four nieces, Stefny Heeley and husband Steven of Illinois, Kimberly Karrganis and husband Jerry of Illinois, Frances Kobus of Michigan, and Kim-Marie Sturges and husband Timothy of Staten Island; nne nephews, John Kobus and wife Celia of Illinois, Thad Rathkamp of Michigan, Samuel Rathkamp of Michigan, Joshua Rathkamp of Arizona, Scott Osgood and wife Maria of Long Island, Stephen Leshinski and wife Lisa of New Jersey, Teddy Leshinski of Florida, and John Osgood and wife Marsha of Staten Island.
Visiting hours were held on February 7 at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. A funeral service was held on February 8 at the funeral home, with the Reverend John Fleischmann, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church in East Moriches, officiating.
