Evelyn Robinson Barnett of Lithia, Florida, formerly of Southampton, died on March 4 at the age of 81surrounded by loved ones, according to her family.
Ms. Barnett was a great mother, loving wife and a good friend of many, family members said. She will be missed by all who knew her, they said.
She is survived by her children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, sister and her husbands.
Ms. Barnett was a busy person throughout her life, her family said. Much of her time was spent being a mother and homemaker and juggling time between her seven children, her husband and life. She worked as a healthcare giver and other jobs during her lifetime.
She was also busy with several community associations. As a mother, she helped out with many groups associated with bringing up children and was an active member of the North Sea Community Association and the North Sea Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Ms. Barnett was also very involved with the VFW organization, serving as past president and member of the Southampton Dunes Post VFW Ladies Auxiliary for many years and becoming a member in Florida.
Funeral services were held at Robarts Family Funeral Home in Wauchula, Florida, on March 10, and she was interred in Bowling Green City Cemetery in Bowling Green, Florida, alongside her husband.
