I am puzzled by Tommy John Schiavoni’s statement while dedicating the new John Steinbeck Park in Sag Harbor: “There’s something about the bays and harbors and peninsulas and beaches of this area that inspire people.”
I can’t tell if he’s referring only to Sag Harbor or the East End, but excluding Hampton Bays, with reference to the Bel-Aire Cove Motel property, which is on a beach.
