Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays will be setting for the 22nd annual Battle of the Bands on Friday, June 6. Give local high school bands will compete for prizes in the event, which begins at 8 p.m. Gates oppen at 7 p.m. with guest performers. Air Force Major General Michael Bank, the commander of the New York Air National Guard, has announced the recent promotion of members of the New York Air National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.
