Dark Sky Week 2021 takes place Sunday, April 5, and runs through Sunday, April 12. Join Southampton Town and the International Dark Sky Association for a week of celebration, learning and action!
Dark Sky Week draws attention to the problems associated with light pollution and promotes simple solutions available to mitigate it. The town’s Dark Skies Advisory Committee will be meeting on the third Friday of the month at 10 a.m. At present we meet virtually but hope to meet in person again as we did pre-pandemic.
The committee welcomes new members who want to participate in our efforts. If you are interested in joining the committee, please contact me.
