The Southampton Town Board has approved a $2.4 million in grant to help a developer build a 40-unit apartment complex on an acre of land near the Riverside traffic traffic circle. Neighbors have asked the town to stop a proposed 7-Eleven at the property adjacent to where the housing would go.
