Hampton Bays National Guard Soldier Earns New Rank

Major General Ray Shields, the adjutant general for the State of New York, announced the recent promotion of Steven Delgadogarzon from Hampton Bays, a member of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of his capability for additional responsibility and leadership. The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame is accepting applications for its 2024 Student Scholarship program. The deadline for applications is Friday, May 10. The Bliss Morehead Grant Committee has named the winners of the third annual Bliss Morehead Poetry Grant competition. The theme for 2024 was “Hope and Grace”.
