Former Remsenburg resident Stella Goss died on March 29 at Glens Falls Hospital. She was 92.
Ms. Goss spent much of her life in Remsenburg, where she was married to Otto Goss. She worked for many years as a laboratory nurse at Peconic Bay Medical Center and was also an avid homemaker. She had several interests and talents including rug braiding, gardening, needlepoint, knitting and upholstering furniture.
She spent the latter part of her life in North Hebron, New York, until she moved to a nursing home in Granville in 2008, following a stroke.
She was predeceased by her husband, Otto Goss; and sons, Robert, Sydney and Dennis Goss. She is survived by a son, Richard Goss; and 11 grandchildren, Robert, Daniel, Thomas, Brian, Johnathon, Bobby, Michael, Melanie, Kelsi, Laila and Lauren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, at Eastport Bible Church. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Westhampton Cemetery. There will be a lunch at Eastport Bible Church immediately following the graveside service.
