Former Suffolk County Legislator indicted on fraud charges

A Suffolk County grand jury handed down a sprawling indictment last week against former County Legislator George O. Guldi of Westhampton Beach and one of his business partners that included more than 40 criminal charges, most of them felonies, ranging from fraud to grand larceny.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH — Dario Vasquez, 26, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on December 9 and charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a misdemeanor. At 1:09 a.m., Police said they observed a blue Chevrolet Silverado traveling west on Mill Road in an unsafe manner by failing to maintain its designated lane.
