There are three reasons why I encourage fellow Southampton Village residents to vote on June 16 for Mayor Jesse Warren and trustee candidates Greg Centeno and Palmer Hudson.
Mayor Warren gets things done. He is highly fiscally responsible, while successfully achieving many major enhancements and fixes sorely needed in our village. Warren has been an exemplary leader, acting for village residents and cultivating positive relationships across the village and town.
As trustees, Greg Centeno and Palmer Hudson have superb practical expertise that will help the village continue improving, while preserving what we love about Southampton. Centeno and Hudson, and Mayor Warren, will work as a team, with residents’ interests as their top priority.
The opposing mayoral candidate has brought negative backroom politics to village governance and achieved less than he did as trustee 20 years ago. He talks a good game yet ignores village residents’ constructive input. Let’s put a stop to this harmful, disrespectful behavior — Mayor Warren’s opponent would be a sorry choice.
Together, Mayor Warren, Palmer Hudson and Greg Centeno form a formidable team of leaders we must elect — every vote counts!
