Harry and Alexandra Fotopoulos of Hampton Bays celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 18 at the Long Island National Golf Club in Riverhead. They were married on October 19, 1958, in Corona, New York, and have lived in Hampton Bays since 1980.

The celebration was thrown by the couple’s four children and their spouses: Andy and his wife, Helen; Bill and his wife, Lisa; Frances and her husband, Rob; and Betty and her husband, Evan. Their eight grandchildren—Harry, Alexis, Jake, Nicky and Dylan Fotopoulos, Elisabeth Daniels, Eleni and Alexandra Arapostathis—also assisted with the planning.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH — Dario Vasquez, 26, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on December 9 and charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a misdemeanor.
