Yet another batch of cars have been stolen out of Southampton Town Police jurisdiction, most of them all but wrapped up in a ribbon for the thieves who found their targets unlocked with keys inside the vehicles.
A blue 2017 Audi A7 was reported taken from a location on Seasons Lane in Tuckahoe on the morning of Friday, October 15, at about 7:30 a.m.
A half hour earlier, on the same day and in the same neighborhood, another vehicle, a gray 2016 Ford F150, was reported stolen from a County Road 39 driveway during the overnight hours. The truck was unlocked; the key fob left inside.
Moving to North Sea, a black 2021 BMW was stolen from a driveway on Woodland Drive. Reported at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 15, it had last been seen at 1:15 a.m. On Millicent Drive, the theft of a 2019 BMW was called in within minutes of the previous case. The gray luxury car had been left unlocked, with the key fob inside in the driveway.
