Frank Marturano, Formerly Of Hampton Bays, Dies January 5

Frank Marturano

Former Hampton Bays resident Frank Marturano of Wappinger Falls died on January 5. He was 80.

Prior to retiring, he was the project manager for the former American Builders of Cutchogue.

He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy. He is survived by his companion Sharon; and a daughter, Laureen Garzack and her companion, Bowman Prendergast of Hampton Bays.

A parish prayer service was held at the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays on Thursday, January 10. A funeral Mass was held at the Church of St. Rosalie on Friday, January 11, followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
