Frederick “Fred” Louis Rogers, born on January 18, 1939, in Queens, New York, died peacefully on March 8, 2025, at the age of 86, at Mission Hospital Heart Tower in Asheville, North Carolina.
He dedicated 39 years of his professional life to a successful career as a stockbroker, where his keen insight and dedication earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond his professional achievements, he was deeply committed to serving his community. For 25 years, he volunteered tirelessly, embodying the spirit of selflessness and compassion that defined his character. In his leisure time, he was a dedicated member of the Freemasons for over 50 years, actively participating in lodge meetings and events. He embraced Masonic principles and was a major contributor to the Scout Fund.
A man of faith, he was a devoted member of the Methodist Church, where he found solace and strength throughout his life.
He was also on the United States Coast Guard Reserve, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to duty and service.
His family and friends will remember him as a man of integrity, warmth, and generosity, whose legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Malcom and Marie Rogers; and his brother, Malcom Rogers, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Michie C. Rogers; his brother-in-law, Thomas “Tim” Campbell and Tim’s wife, Jeanne, of Southampton, along with their two daughters and three grandchildren.
In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held.
