The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons will hold its 30th annual Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk on Saturday, October 7, from 9 a.m. to noon. Parrish Received Grant To Support and Expand Outreach to Underserved Groups

The Parrish Art Museum announced that it is the recipient of a $198,000 grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. With the grant the museum will evaluate, improve, and expand Access Parrish, an existing gallery experience and art-making program that serves individuals with special needs, including cognitive diverse individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, individuals on the autism spectrum, people with physical disabilities, and people who have experienced severe trauma. East End Hospice received a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in its 2023 Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Hospice Survey released August 30. According to a press release, East End Hospice is the only hospice on Long Island to receive a 5 out of 5 stars rating. Only 11 percent of the more than 5,500 hospices nationwide received 5-stars.
