Funeral Service Set For Nora R. Guthrie

Former Southampton resident Nora R. Guthrie died February 3, 2018. She was 85.

She was born May 19, 1932, in Southampton to the late Marie S. and Richard P. Reimann.

She is survived by her niece, Lora R. Atkinson (Darryl) and her great-nieces, Alexis and Bailey, all of Katonah; two cousins, MaryAnn Atterbury and Alexis Watson, both of Florida; and her dear friend, Linda Rice, also of Florida.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, at 11:30 a.m. at Water Mill Cemetery; Reverend Mark Middlekauff is scheduled to officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brockett Funeral home in Southampton.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH — On December 4, a person reported receiving a suspicious postcard at the Westhampton Beach Post Office. The person stated to Westhampton Beach Village Police that the postcard had disturbing and false information regarding a finch bird.
