Gennaro “Steve” Duca of The Villages, Florida, died on February 17, 2018. He was 83.
Mr. Duca was born December 10, 1934, New York City to Stephen and Olga (Bizzigotti) Duca. He was a retired aviator with the U.S. Coast Guard, earning the rank of captain prior to retirement. His second career was vice president of external affairs with MSRC. He and his wife, Barbara, moved to Florida in 2011 from Fort Washington, Maryland. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wildwood and enjoyed golfing and woodworking.
Mr. Duca is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara; children, Stephen (Patrie) Duca of Maryland, Elizabeth (Joseph) Baldasano of Pennsylvania, and Carolyn Duca Bowen (Robert) of West Virginia; five granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
