Geraldine A. Vorbach died at her Sag Harbor home on June 12. She was 86.

Born March 28, 1923, in New York City to Catherine Flynn and Joseph Gramlich, she attended Bishop McDonald High School in Brooklyn.

A former resident of New Hyde Park, she retired as second vice president for Chase Manhattan Bank in Queens.

She is survived by three sons, Vincent Pilinko of Ronkonkoma, Lawrence Pilinko and his wife Diane of North Massapequa, and Eugene Pilinko and his wife Marybeth of Roslyn Heights; three daughters, Stephanie Dellamura of Ronkonkoma, Hilary and her husband Steve Chasin of Manhasset, and Valerie and her husband Jack Gilday of East Williston; a brother, Joseph Gramlich and his wife Florence of New Jersey; and two sisters, Agnes Pilinko of Sag Harbor and Eileen Tonkin of Washingtonville.

She is also survived by three grandsons, John Gilday, Luke Pilinko and Trevor Pilinko; and seven granddaughters, Tracy Lanese, Farah Dellamura, Kimberly Dellamura, Lauren Laffin, Alison Gilday, Sarah Pilinko and Dana Pilinko; four great-grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews.

Her first husband, Vincent Pilinko, predeceased her, as did her second husband, John Vorbach.

Prayer services were held on June 15 at Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor. A funeral mass was held on June 16 at St. Andrew’s Church in Sag Harbor followed by interment at Long Island National Cemetery in Pinelawn.

In lieu of flowers, donations to East End Hospice, P.O. Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978-7048 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated by the family.
