Bridget Fleming, currently our Suffolk County legislator, is running for the District 1 congressional seat. During this campaign season, voters have learned what a brilliant, dedicated, and determined candidate for Congress she is.
Bridget is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Hunter College’s Special Honor Curriculum and received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she received the prestigious Kramer Award for service to the community.
Going door to door canvassing with Bridget when she first ran for Southampton Town Council made me see her total devotion to public service. Bridget is nonpartisan, is a powerful speaker for social justice, and is knowledgeable and passionate about eastern Long Island issues, especially prudent financial management.
What has always set her apart is her total commitment to protecting our environment. Water quality and combating the effects of climate change are her obsessions. In Congress, she will be able to support important conservation legislation that will benefit Long Island and the nation.
All she needs is for you to get to the polls on or before Election Day to cast your ballot for Bridget Fleming for Congress. Staying home and not voting won’t do it.
One fine body…
