It looks like the Brookhampton Conservative Committee in Hauppauge and Good Neighbor DeVito, two outside organizations, are exerting enormous influence on the coming election for Southampton Village mayor.
Scurrilous photographs and comments of and about Mayor Jesse Warren are being circulated. They should prove, and Jesse should be given an opportunity to refute all these vicious claims.
Mayor Warren is not at his best at getting everyone to like him, but I think he has always had the best interests of the village at heart. Is criticism of the police verboten?
The Press is fair-minded, and I hope you will do what you can to even the playing field and expose the outsider attempts to demonize our current Mayor Jesse Warren.
