Giving Thanks

Giving ThanksAs the 2019 East Quogue Hamlet Green Summer Concert Series Committee chairman, I would like to thank all of my East Quogue neighbors, their families, their friends and their co-workers for supporting and participating in our 2019 East Quogue Hamlet Green Summer Concert Series. Other than one concert that was rained out three times, the series was another success.

These concerts are funded jointly by the East Quogue Civic Association, East Quogue Chamber of Commerce, and the Town of Southampton. Our concerts will always be free — we will never pass a hat to raise funds.

In addition to the three sponsors of the Concert Series, the committee would like to thank the following, for without them the Concert Series would not run as smoothly as it does: Southampton Town Traffic Control, under the leadership of Sergeant Steve Miller; Southampton Parks & Recreation Department, under the leadership of Kristen Doulos; East Quogue Fire Department, under the leadership of Chief Scott Flynn; and the East Quogue EMS specialists, who provide an ambulance and an EMT on site each week.

Enjoy the rest of 2019, your holidays and next spring, and we will see you back on the East Quogue Hamlet Green for our first concert next year, on Tuesday night, June 30, at 7 p.m. The rain dates will be August 4 and 11, at 7 p.m.
