The Southampton Town Police Department will hold its 2026 Civilian Police Academy starting in January. The academy offers a unique opportunity to see and experience what police officers do on a daily basis. The Westhampton Ambulance Volunteer Water Rescue Squad will host its second annual “Ice Plunge” fundraiser at Rogers Beach in Westhampton Beach on Saturday, December 20, at 12:30 p.m., with check-in starting at noon.
