Readers of these pages are familiar with the many improvements to the Village of Westhampton Beach. Much is visible (Main Street, infrastructure upgrades, new businesses) and much more goes on behind the scenes ($20 million in grants secured, village Master Plan and code revisions, fiscal responsibility).
The architect and leader of these efforts is Village Mayor Maria Moore. Her experience, energy and enthusiasm shines through all she does. She listens, collaborates, develops plans, takes action and follows through on all matters.
She’s built a strong team who reflect her values and serve with pride. And she’s earned the respect of everyone she interacts with. She’s a natural leader, always attuned to preserving the wonderful quality of life we enjoy.
Moore’s first campaign promise was “Progress For Westhampton Beach,” now a prescient description of the achievements and renaissance of our village. She appreciates the privilege it is to serve and is highly dedicated to our community.
It’s our village’s good fortune to have her at the helm.
