Grace Margaret (née Wilson) Alippo died on June 2 at her home in Southampton, of cardiac failure following a series of hospital and nursing home stays. She was 81.
Born in Yonkers on September 3, 1927, she was the daughter of James and Jessie V. (née Hill) Wilson. She lived in Yonkers until her teens, when her family moved to Southampton. She married Paul F. Alippo in 1948.
A member of the North Sea Community Association, she was employed at many Hamptons and New York City locations, including the Meadow Club, Blue Haven, and various private estates and residences.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Robinson and Chrisanne Hamilton, both of Southampton; a brother, Daniel Wilson of Colorado; six grandsons, Frank Harrison, Paul M. Alippo Jr., Mike Robinson, Craig Robinson and his wife Debra, Kevin Robinson and his wife Joann, and Chris Robinson and his wife Jackie; three granddaughters, Debbie and her husband Bruce McKay, Cathy and her husband Rich Fiore, and Tina Robinson; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her husband of 47 years, Paul, she was predeceased by a son, Paul M. Alippo; a sister, Barbara Wilson; and two brothers, James and David Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 14, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the North Sea Community House on Noyac Road, across from the firehouse. Interment at St. Andrew’s Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
