Grace Siciliano of East Quogue died on August 21. She was 77.
A longtime resident of Massapequa Park, she was a passionate teacher, leader, mentor and friend. Survivors said her love of all children was ever-present. She taught for more than 40 years in the East Meadow and Massapequa school districts before retiring to East Quogue in 2002. She was a 1956 graduate of Babylon High School, SUNY Oswego in 1960, and received a master’s degree from Hofstra University in 1989.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred; and three children, Michael and wife Mary K, Susan Brown and husband Thomas, and Cindy Bye and husband Richard; grandchildren, Samantha, Keenan, Hailey, Nolan, Kendall, Grace, Griffin and Siena.
Visiting was on August 24 and 25 at the R.J. O’Shea Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. A funeral Mass took place on August 26 at the Church of St. Rosalie in Hampton Bays. Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
