The great East End Cleanup, a volunteer-based program to remove litter and waste from Southampton Town’s roadsides, parks, trails and beaches, will be held on Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27.
Residents are asked to select an area of publicly maintained property such as a park, beach, roadside or trail, that is in need of cleaning.
Register online at www.southamptontownny.gov by April 21. The town will provide garbage bags, pick-up sticks and disposal passes for all four town transfer stations. Registrants can pick up these items between now and April 25 at Southampton Town Hall between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. or the North Sea Transfer Station office between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. In addition, supplies will also be available on Monday, April 21, at 5:30 p.m. at the Hampton Bays Community Center.
