Great Strides

With the election over and the holiday season in full swing, I thought now would be the perfect time to connect with the local community.

First, I want to congratulate all winners throughout Southampton Town. I hope you carry the message of our constituents whom we spoke to door to door and parking lot to parking lot into policy that reflects the “red wave” that swept over the voting public. Even Supervisor Jay Schneiderman was vividly surprised at the pushback on his policy. Hopefully, all elected members of the Town Board will work together to better serve the public.

Even though I was not successful in this election cycle, we ran a strong race and made great strides advocating for transparency and new ideas within the local community. Going forward, I will continue to be engaged in the community I love. After all, I believe what really counts and defines a person is what they do when no one is watching.

I am grateful for every vote including those who crossed their party lines in my support. I am honored. May I also thank everyone who volunteered on my campaign to make my first public run for office a great experience. It was an amazing run.

Thank you and happy holidays to all.
