The Express Sessions conversation “Hampton Bays Under Pressure” took place on October 10 at Cowfish Restaurant in the hamlet. Southampton Town’s largest hamlet has been in a state of flux as a developer has amassed parcels and has a vision for a new downtown. Simultaneously, the Shinnecock Nation is planning a gas station and travel plaza at its Westwoods property, which has also sparked concern among Hampton Bays residents. This Express Sessions forum brings together many of the players in one room to search for common ground and try to identify successful strategies for moving forward on the issues affecting Hampton Bays.

THE PANEL:
Marion Boden, Hampton Bays resident
Ray D'Angelo, President, Hampton Bays Civic Association
John Leonard, Founder, Hampton Bays Alliance
Gayle Lombardi, Director, Hampton Bays Civic Association
Cyndi McNamara, Southampton Town Councilwoman
