On behalf of the Mariners Patriot Club, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make our Veterans Dinner on Wednesday, October 29, such a meaningful and memorable evening.

This special night was filled with gratitude, love and community spirit, as we came together to honor those who have served our country with courage and sacrifice. It was made possible by the incredible generosity and kindness of so many throughout our community.

To our local restaurants, thank you for your generous food donations that warmed both our hearts and our tables. To our community members and businesses, your monetary contributions made it possible to create an event that truly reflected the respect our village holds for our veterans.

To our dedicated school staff, we are so grateful for the time, effort and care you poured into making this evening a success. To our students and volunteers, your smiles, service and enthusiasm made the night shine even brighter.

Thank you for the unwavering support of our community volunteers, New York State Troopers, Southampton PTO, Southampton Village Police Department, Southampton Town Police Department and its and Explorers, Suffolk County Legislators Office, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department, the Town of Southampton, the Village of Southampton, and to our talented decoration committee. Your creativity helped create an atmosphere of warmth and gratitude that will be remembered by all who attended.

My apologies if we forgot to mention you by name — we are eternally grateful to everyone.

This dinner was more than just a meal — it was a beautiful reflection of what makes our community so special: People coming together to honor, to give and to serve.
