Helen Grasso
Helen Grasso of Hampton Bays died at her home on Sunday, June 10. She was 95.
For many years, Mrs. Grasso was employed as a clerk in the admitting office at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn.
She was predeceased by her husband, John A. Grasso, in 1997; and a son, Michael Grasso.
Mrs. Grasso is survived by her daughter, Roberta Grasso Tarlen, with whom she lived; three grandchildren, Lizbeth Perfetto, Barrie Patton and Johno Tarlen; six great-grandchildren, Samantha, Terry and Brian Kohler, and Chloe, Cailee and Jonanthony Tarlen; and a great-great-grandchild, Sienna Senese.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 13, at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale. A family friend and minister, the Reverend Randy Paige, conducted the service. The funeral was under the direction of the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays.
