Helen Grasso Of Hampton Bays Dies On June 10

Helen Grasso of Hampton Bays died at her home on Sunday, June 10. She was 95.

For many years, Mrs. Grasso was employed as a clerk in the admitting office at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn.

She was predeceased by her husband, John A. Grasso, in 1997; and a son, Michael Grasso.

Mrs. Grasso is survived by her daughter, Roberta Grasso Tarlen, with whom she lived; 
three grandchildren, Lizbeth Perfetto, Barrie Patton and Johno Tarlen; six great-grandchildren, Samantha, Terry and Brian Kohler, and Chloe, Cailee and Jonanthony Tarlen; and a great-great-grandchild, Sienna Senese.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 13, at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale. A family friend and minister, the Reverend Randy Paige, conducted the service. The funeral was under the direction of the J. Ronald Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations made to East End Hospice, PO Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978, or the Dominican Sisters Family Health Service, 103-6 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, NY 11946.
