Helen S. Foster Of Hampton Bays Dies December 23

Helen S. Foster of Hampton Bays died on December 23, 2016. She was 87.

She was the daughter of the late Louis Stromski and Anna Tisoska. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard H. Foster; and a brother, Paul Stromski. She is survived by her children, Brenda Petrolito and husband Paul, Donna Foster, and Paula Nicholls and husband Kim; a brother, Alexander Stromski and wife Carol; grandchildren, Lauren, Lisa, Bryan and wife Lauren, Nicholas, Kyle, and Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Eli and Owen.

A funeral service was held at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, of which Ms. Foster was a founding member, in Hampton Bays on December 30, 2016. Burial followed at Good Ground Cemetery in Hampton Bays. Arrangements were under the direction of the Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. He was pulled over after being observed speeding and failing to maintain his lane on Montauk Highway, police said.
