Helen Smith Bezgamblick Dies At 96

Helen Smith Bezgamblick

Helen Smith Bezgamblick of Speonk died at her daughter’s home in East Quogue on Thursday, May 5. She was 96.

Ms. Bezgamblick was born in Brooklyn on February 8, 1915, and moved with her family to Speonk when she was 8 years old. She was an avid gardener who raised her own vegetables and loved the outdoors.

Ms. Gezgamblick is survived by her daughter, Patricia Reindl of East Quogue; three grandchildren, Neal Raymond of Massachusetts, Tracy Raymond of Manhattan, and Daniel Raymond of Holtsville; and five great-grandchildren, Luke, Omar, Michael, Jason and Amanda. She was predeceased by her husband, William.

The family received friends at the Follett & Werner Funeral Home on Monday, May 9. A memorial service was held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 10. Interment followed at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.
