Helen V. Tureski
Helen V. Tureski of Southampton died on November 25 at Southampton Hospital at the age of 85.
According to family, Ms. Tureski had a passion for beachcombing, fishing, crabbing and her dogs.
She is survived by three daughters, Joann Hamilton of Greenport, Diane Martin of Rochester and Jacky Zeiler of Maryland; two sons, James Tureski of Southampton and Kenneth Tureski of Florida; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward Sliwienski and his wife Pat of Southampton; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Tureski, and a grandson, Jeremy C. Hamilton.
Visitation and prayer services were held on November 28 at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral mass was held on November 29 at Our Lady of Poland Church in Southampton. Interment followed at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Southampton.
