On behalf of the Southampton Christmas Decorations Committee, I would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the Southampton Parade of Lights, tree lighting and fireworks in Agawam Park.

What a festive and wonderful evening it was, and we are so grateful to Millie Fellingham and Betty Micallef for doing the honors and lighting the tree this year.

We would also like the thank Southampton School’s MOSH and VOSH for the lovely caroling, and the Southampton Cultural Center for hosting Santa after the tree lighting and fireworks.

A big thank you to all the fire and EMS departments that took part in the Parade of Lights — it was our biggest parade to date — and to the Southampton Village Police Department for all their assistance and support.

The tree lighting has become an exciting kickoff to the holiday season for so many, and we are beyond grateful to all those whose generous support enables us to continue bringing this wonderful event to Southampton each year. While we are steeped in tradition, we are constantly striving to improve.

Once again, thank you to all who attended and supported the event.
