Ida Gentile of Hampton Bays died on Thursday, August 7.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Forte and her husband Phil; six grandchildren, Peter Rega, Danielle Weiselberg and her husband Scott, Peter Iannetta, Michael Iannetta and his wife Caroline, Christopher Iannetta and his wife Maria, and Lisa Gibbons and her husband Tim; and nine great-grandchildren, Kristal, Stephanie, Michael, April, Christopher, Peter, Jonathan, Brett and Alex.

She was predeceased by her first husband, August Trotta; her second husband, Joseph Gentile; and a daughter, Frances Trotta.

A wake was held at the R.J. O’Shea Funeral Home in Hampton Bays on August 9 and 10. A funeral mass was held at St. Rosalie’s Roman Catholic Church in Hampton Bays on August 11; interment followed at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH — Dario Vasquez, 26, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on December 9 and charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a misdemeanor.
