Irene E. Freddi Of Hampton Bays Dies February 23

Irene E. Freddi of Hampton Bays died on February 23, 2017. She was 89.

Born in Brooklyn on July 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Russo and Carmela Anastasio. She was a former member of the Queens Chamber of Commerce and vice president of Maspeth Federal Savings.

She is survived by her husband, Frank C. Freddi; children, Peter Pollina and wife Monika, Michael Freddi and wife Anne Marie: and six grandchildren.

Visitation was on February 27 at the Scott Funeral Home in Hampton Bays. A funeral service was held at the Church of St. Rosalie in Hampton Bays on February 28. Entombment followed at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale.

Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of December 12

William Campos Lopez, 26, of Speonk was arrested on December 8, at 3:40 a.m., by Quogue Village Police charged him with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor.
