Jacqueline Almond Martin of Quogue died on Saturday, August 16. She was 94.
Mrs. Martin was born on December 1, 1913, in Albemarle, North Carolina. She lived in New York City with her husband, H. Bradley Martin, all of her married life. She maintained a house in Greenwood, Virginia, and a residence in Key Biscayne, Florida, and spent summers in Quogue at her daughter’s home, with whom she lived for the past several years.
According to loved ones, she enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and cooking.
She is survived by a daughter, Alice Martin Takach, and her husband, Stephen, of Quogue; a son, H. Bradley Martin; a stepdaughter, Helen Martin Bryan; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, H. Bradley Martin, and a stepdaughter, Ann Martin Johnston.
Interment was at Westbury Friends Cemetery.
