Jacqueline Eleanor McKay
Jacqueline Eleanor McKay of Leesburg, Florida, and formerly of Southampton, died on Friday, July 6, at Leesburg Regional Medical Center. She was 72.
Born in Oceanside, she and her husband, Calvin, moved to Leesburg in 2004 from Southampton. Jacqueline was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Leesburg, where she served as a licensed lay reader, usher, lector and was a former chairwoman of St. Ann’s Episcopal Church. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid bowler when she lived in Southampton.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin George McKay; four children, Christopher Calvin and his wife Laurieann of Hampton Bays, Jacqueline S. McKay of Flanders, Scott Craig and his wife Toni of Texas, Jennifer Lee and her husband Reggie of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Patricia Conrad and her husband William of Delaware and Marilyn Wolniewicz of Center Moriches. She was predeceased by a brother, Walter.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 12, at 2 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church in Leesburg. The Reverend Jay Lambert will officiate.
