Jacqueline “Jackie” Kathryn Navan of Southampton died peacefully on July 19 at East End Hospice on Quiogue, with her husband John at her side. She was 63.
A longtime Southampton resident, she was a vibrant soul, whose energy, laughter, and spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, her family said.
Born on March 29, 1963, she was the daughter of Jack and Kathryn Aurrichio and grew up alongside her four siblings, Louis, Thomas, Helene, and Kathryn, in Dix Hills. From a young age, her charm, boldness, and zest for life were unmistakable, her family said, traits that carried her through every chapter of her life.
In her early 20s, she made her home on the East End, where she built a life filled with connection and purpose. She worked in sales across nearly every East End town, forming friendships that lasted a lifetime. Most importantly, she raised her four children, Jacqueline, Kristen, Johnny, and Jason, in Southampton, all of whom still live locally. Along with her husband and their two adored dogs, Sasha and Teddy, her world was anchored in family, laughter, and the beauty of simple moments — sunsets, evening beach walks, and kitchen dance parties.
She was hard to miss in any room, her family said. She sang and danced whenever the moment moved her, found humor and joy in the smallest things, and spoke her truth unapologetically. She was patient, mischievous, and fearless in following her heart — even if it meant leaping before she looked.
She is survived by her husband John; her four children; five grandchildren; mother Kathryn; four siblings; and countless friends and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, memorial doantions to East End Hospice, (eeh.org), would be appreciated by the family.
