James Hepburn of London, England, died on January 27, 2020, in Marina Del Rey, California. He was 43.

Born March 4, 1976, in Beckenham, United Kingdom, to the late Barrie and Susan Hepburn, he was a classically trained actor who loved making movies, music, cooking, tennis, golf, snowboarding, fishing, and traveling. He divided his time between London, New York and California.

Survivors said he had a compassionate heart and a zest for life, evident in his joyous laughter.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Dylan and Alexander Hepburn of Sag Harbor.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 22, at 2 p.m. at the Old Whalers’ Church in Sag Harbor, with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery, also in Sag Harbor. A funeral in London is being planned for March 4.
